Race Weekend Parking Information

Throughout race weekend you have a number of convenient options to drive or ride. Below we’ve outlined a few of these and included links to related agencies and organizations to help you plan out your trip.
There is no official event parking throughout the weekend. Please note any street parking time limits as well as any fees at City & Private lots.

Packet Pick-Up will take place at the Chase Palm Park Great Meadow. City Public Parking lots are available nearby, on Garden St. and throughout the downtown region. Parking is also available on the street with the Funk Zone / Waterfront area very walkable.

The Starting Line for both the Half Marathon & 5K as well as the Funk Zone Finish Line Festival are both near State St. & Yanonali St. The finish line is two blocks up from this area on State St. Participants will walk under the 101 underpass where they will collect their medal and have access to food and water before meeting up with their families near the Funk Zone Finish Line Festival.

You are welcome to park in any of the City owned lots along the waterfront on Cabrillo Blvd. prior to the 7:00am start of the Half Marathon, but please note any parking time limits and/or fees at City or Private lots. There is no official event parking.  If you have an active Waterfront Parking Permit you may use those on accepted lots just like any other day.

Please note that the Highway 101 off-ramps will be closed at Castillo St. and Bath St. We recommend exiting at Carrillo St. or Garden St.

For detailed closure information visit our Road Closures & No Parking page.
