😎 WEEKEND FORECAST

A weak storm system is passing through and will clear away to offshore flow which means sunny skies and above normal temps through the Half Marathon weekend.

Temps along the coast will be in the low 70s to the upper 70s through the entire weekend and nighttime lows in the low to upper 50s. Winds will be light and sunshine abundant. Here is the day-to-day forecast:

Thursday 11/6: A nice day with some light winds and a high of 73 degrees and a low of 52, with lots of sunshine

Friday 11/7: Offshore winds will bring sunny skies and highs around 75 degrees and lows around 56 degrees

Saturday 11/8: Offshore winds mean great weather for Santa Barbara, no wind along the coast only lots of sunshine and highs in around 77 degrees and low around 57 degrees, just perfect weather for a fun Saturday .

Sunday 11/9: This will be the best and warmest day of the weekend. The offshore winds will warm us to 78 degrees and a low of 59. Sunshine and perfect weather will make the feature event fantastic. There is no better place to be than Santa Barbara in early November. Combined with great weather and the perfect scenery, the event is going to be the best ever.

The UCLA Health 5K kicks off on State Street and turns left onto Cabrillo Blvd for an extended waterfront loop. After a scenic first two miles along the world renowned Santa Barbara waterfront, you’ll wind into downtown for a finish on historic State Street.
