Hey, hey! Are you ready to lace up those sneakers and hit the ground running? Or maybe just go for a leisurely stroll with some cool folks? Either way, you’re in luck because Santa Barbara has got some awesome running groups to join! Don’t know where to start or not in Santa Barbara? Just pop into a running store and they can help you along your way.

Coach Evan Covell

In addition to leading bi-weekly runs in Santa Barbara in the lead-up to this year’s event, Evan is a standout running coach!

He can help you set and achieve your running and fitness goals through personalized, science-based training and injury prevention. Evan has coached runners in Santa Barbara since 2018, offering both online coaching through Final Surge and in-person sessions for those local to Santa Barbara. He has run the Santa Barbara Half Marathon three times and has coached many athletes to personal bests on this course!
