Schedule & General Info

Grand Prix Event: The Half Marathon is a part of the Santa Barbara Running Association Grand Prix as well as the Southern California USATF Grand Prix.

The 5K is a part of the Junior Grand Prix. There is no cost for Junior Grand Prix participants.

The Half Marathon as well as the 5K will begin in a couple of wave groups. Specific wave information will be sent out during race week & your wave number will be on the front of your bib.  

🚀 7:00am – Half Marathon presented by HOKA

  • Wave #1 Start (NEW LOCATION: Cabrillo Blvd. near State Street)
  • Start Line Closes at 7:20AM

🚀  8:30am – UCLA Health 5K

  • Wave #1 Start (NEW LOCATION: Cabrillo Blvd. near State Street)
  • Start Line Closes at 8:50AM

🍻 9:00am – Official Festival Partners Open for Business on Yanonali St.

🏆 9:00am – Half Marathon Overall Awards (Festival Main Stage)

🏆 9:30am – 5K Overall Awards (Festival Main Stage)

🚀  10:00am – HOKA Kids Fun Run (SAME LOCATION: State St. & Yanonali St.)

👉 Handcycle Participants will begin 2-3 minutes ahead of the Half Marathon or 5K first wave start.

Parking: There are two City of SB waterfront lots across the street from the Carousel House off of Garden St. Please adhere to all parking fees and restrictions in downtown Santa Barbara. There is no official special event parking throughout race weekend. DO NOT PARK OR DROP OFF ADJACENT THE CAROUSEL HOUSE CURBSIDE ON CABRILLO BLVD OR GARDEN ST.
